Mog King – Privacy Policy

Mog King ("the App") is a free face-scanning entertainment app. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.

Information We Collect

The App does not require user accounts or registration. We collect limited information only for the purposes described below. Most data stays on your device and is never sent to any server we operate — we do not operate a server for this App.

Camera & Face Data

The App uses the device's front camera to detect a face and compute a fun "Mog Score." This processing is done entirely on your device using Google ML Kit's on-device Face Detection model. Specifically:

• The camera preview is shown in real time only while the scan screen is open.
• Face landmarks (approximate positions of the eyes, nose, mouth, cheeks, and ears) are computed locally and used only to draw on-screen overlays and to calculate the score.
• No images, video, or face data ever leave your device. Nothing is uploaded, recorded to storage, or shared with us or any third party.
• The App does not request or use microphone audio.

The CAMERA permission can be revoked at any time from your device's system Settings → Apps → Mog King → Permissions.

Local Data Storage

The App stores a small amount of data locally on your device using Android SharedPreferences:

• Your highest Mog Score.
• Your most recent Mog Score.

This data is stored only on your device, is never transmitted off the device, and is removed when you uninstall the App or clear its data.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob, including interstitial and app-open ad formats. To serve and measure ads, AdMob may automatically collect certain information from your device, including:

• Android Advertising ID (Ad ID)
• Device model, OS version, and language
• IP address and approximate (coarse) location derived from it
• App interaction and ad-impression data

This data is collected and processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to or control over the data AdMob collects.

Consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland, and similar regions): The App uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent SDK to ask for your ad-personalization choices on first launch where required by local law. You can change your choice later when prompted by the consent flow.

Reset advertising ID: You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads at any time via your device's system Settings → Google → Ads (location may vary by manufacturer).

Sharing Your Score

If you tap "Share" on the result screen, the App opens your device's standard Android share sheet so you can send a short text message (containing your score and a link to the App) through an app you choose. The App does not send or post anything on your behalf — the share sheet is operated by your device and the destination app handles the message according to its own privacy policy.

Permissions Summary

• CAMERA – required for face scanning; processed entirely on-device.
• INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE – used by Google AdMob to fetch ads and by Google's User Messaging Platform to load the consent form.

Children

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 and is not intended for use by children. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. AdMob is configured so that any ad requests are not tagged for users under the age of consent.

Security

Because the App does not operate a backend server and does not transmit your face or personal information off the device, the primary security boundary is your own device. We recommend keeping your device's operating system up to date.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
